Adopt a Plant at The Kirkland Highlands Entrance

In Kirkland WA on June 10, 2009 at 6:09 pm

The 112th Ave NE entrance to the Kirkland Highlands is looking good! No more weeds! Thanks to everyone who worked there this past weekend to make the entrance look great. It’s a major improvement and helps to “dress up” our neighborhood appearance.

People are adopting plants and taking responsibility for watering them to make sure the plants establish themselves. Kirkland Highlands Adopting a Plant

Would you like to adopt a plant?

All you need to do it is give a plant a couple of gallons of water a week.  Unless, of course, it gets really hot, then you’ll need to water it far more.  Contact Karen Story at karen@tinyisland.com, if you’d like to adopt a plant.  Help keep the Kirkland Highlands entrance beautiful!
